Jeremy Nichols, a Portland based artist originally from Tokyo, creates fantastical environments bursting with energy. Organic patterns and textures are reimagined as alien forms, presenting our familiar natural world as something unknown.
For SODO Track, Jeremy presents a vibrant landscape in motion, in which elements of nature collide with graphic interpretations of human development. Shared color palettes and directional movement connects his artwork to Saddo’s neighboring depiction of a speeding skateboarder, giving the two works a dynamic sense of speed.
