Franco “Jaz” Fasoli is a multidisciplinary artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Known for large scale murals and sculptural works that often investigate the dualities of self, Franco frequently presents human, animal, and hybrid figures in battle or embrace, intertwined or reflected back on one another.
In Lo privado en lo publico, Franco transforms a paper collage depicting a personal scene from his grandmother’s kitchen into a mural of great scale. The artwork moves the private into public space and invites the public transit riders in.
